Corus Living Solutions has the most advanced modular housing production technology in Europe, featuring a semi-automated line. The business, based in Shotton, North Wales was launched in 2003 to design, supply and erect fully factory fitted-out steel-framed accommodation modules. As a result of its expertise and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, Corus secured the single largest modular construction contract awarded to date in the UK to deliver 155 36-bedroom buildings as part of the £8 billion PFI to upgrade British Army garrisons on the Salisbury Plain – Project Allenby/Connaught.
